CTN for Minnesota

Tele-Commuter Resources, Inc. CTN Diagram The Community TeleCenter Network is based upon three fundamental beliefs:
  1. the key to economic growth in the Information Age is access to technology
  2. the key to community viability is a balanced demographic and economic base, and
  3. the key to regional competitiveness in the global economy requires the full integration of the rural and urban communities.
The Distributed City Model report (see WHITE PAPERS / Community ) documents the economic feasibility of the TCR concept but its implementation requires a regional, political, commitment and the recreation of a viable community sector.. There are three distinct roles to be played by the TeleCenters to create the distribution network to support the content distribution envisioned by the Community Alliance. Communities must organize themselves to become nodes on a community network vs.. remaining segmented and insular..
To create the Community TeleCenter Network TCR recommends the creation of a Public-Community-Private Partnership that could coordinate the delivery of high level technology services into the region's communities using the Community Typology as an organizing structure.
